We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Las Vegas area client's accounting functions, tenant relations, and property operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, professional, and interested in gaining broad exposure across accounting and real estate operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Support preparation of financial reports and maintain organized accounting records
- Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries and routine communications
- Assist with rent billing, collections tracking, lease administration, and tenant onboarding
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and work order tracking
- Maintain property records, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality
- Experience in real estate, property management, or construction preferred
- Familiarity with accounting or property management software
